Hello Monday - 10 days until Christmas!

Happy Monday!  My Traveling Sisters and I got out to the local Biergarten this weekend - Schulz Brau.  The guys were there too and Stephen met up with us but Connie was off her game and didn't get them in any pictures ;). We had some amazing food and a variety of beers and holiday drinks.

The weather wasn't too awful - we sat outside together for a couple hours.  We made birthday plans for me (February), Susan (September), and put an August lake weekend on the calendar too!  Germany is our European destination this year, hence the Biergarten - I'm sure it won't be our last trip there :)  Tom and I ended up leaving them around 5 to go to our church's annual Christmas Concert - that was a great way to cap off the day!
Friday we had a last-minute invitation to join some friends to go bowling.  We met downtown a little after 6 - the wait for a lane was 10 p.m.!!  We got online and found another place but since we parked in different places we went opposite directions.  As we walked through Market Square, we were curious if we could stop and get a drink at Stock & Barrel - wouldn't you know, they had two seats open at the bar!
We each got their house Old Fashioned and shared an order of their Duck Fat Fries - so good.  When we got to the alley everyone ended up at, they had JUST gotten a couple of lanes - perfect timing :). There were 6 adults and 4 "kids" (ages 14-20 maybe?) - we had a good time.  I was so happy to have a night out!

Sunday we went to church, then ran a couple errands, put a chuck roast on the Traeger for dinner, I went to pickleball, Laura came home for a couple hours, and then we took the dogs out in the frigid temperatures!  NO PICTURES.  For a whole day.  Who am I???
We did get a pickleball picture on Wednesday since it was the end of one of our blocktime session and we stayed after for pizza together.  This is such a fun group to play with!!
The only other significant thing from the weekend was that I was able to get our annual family calendar completed.  I had worked on it pretty much all week - so glad to have the wedding pictures to include.
I'm always "really excited" about everyone getting it - and never get all the pictures that I want and/or are sent to use.  I'm always sooooo grateful for the pictures each year and appreciate everyone knowing how important they are to me to have :)

I use Shutterfly for these - I just went back to see how many years I've been doing these - it looks like at least 15 years:
Wow!!
Well, I'm barely going to get this post published on Monday - ha!  I'll link up with Sarah and Holly - I think I've read most of the Monday posts today, just haven't had a chance to sit down and blog myself.
Thanks for reading Friends - you all give me a reason to continue to share my life :)
Sounds like the Honeymooners are on their way home - they've shared some pictures on Instagram so I'm assuming they are "ok" with me sharing a few here too :)
Here's to Week 51 of 2025!!
Love,
Jenni

  2. Looks like a really fun weekend! So much activity including hearing some beautiful Christmas music at church- doesn´t get much better than that. Your calendar tradition is a really neat one. I´m sure you put a lot of time into the calendars but that it´s worth it in the end. I´m gonna put in a request in that you blog about your trip to Germany. Vicariously is the only way I´m going to experience Germany so you need to do your part, (LOL!).

    1. Hahaha - we’ll see about that Germany blogging - I really do always WANT to….didn’t even try this year after my inability to do Italy the year before ;)
I miss Fairhaven’s Christmas program each year - some years it works out but not this one.
