Friday Favorites - 7.11.25

 Friday Favorites - July 11, 2025

Today is Fred and Nancy's 62nd wedding anniversary (in the middle above).  Their daughter and granddaughter that looks most like a "Bell" are not pictured and two girlfriends are.  So. . .this is the result of 62 years of marriage, sort of.  Tom and I aren't even half-way there yet!!!

It's been a month or two. . .since overall "summer" is a favorite this is easy!!
I have chosen books over most everything else (including blogging and social media) a lot this summer and have finished THREE within the last month.  I really, really liked this one and will be looking for some more of her books.
She is always one of four favorites :) We moved her to her new digs in Clarksville on Sunday - she is full staff with Chi Alpha this year at APSU
The boys spent last weekend with my sister - she got them out on the golf course :). I'm so happy that they all enjoy being together - this weekend my girls and I will be with her!
These two are the best. . .the hard life of living with us - 9:30 p.m.
Love seeing my kiddos out on the lake!!
I'm still pulling pictures off Facebook from my traveling friends' London photos!!
We will all be in Germany (Lord willing, of course) together this time next year :)
These two really are two peas in a pod.  Nana and Laura are extra special together :)

That's it for this week - my picture-taking is struggling!!!  We have a fun weekend ahead in Cincinnati and then celebrating one of those traveling friend's birthdays the following weekend.  Summer is going by too fast!!!

Let me know in the comments your favorites so far from the summer.

Love,
Jenni

  1. Looks like a couple of the women in the first photo forgot to get dressed.

    1. I wish I would have had that kind of confidence in my body when I was their age :/.

  2. Many congrats to Fred and Nancy! Great family picture even though it sounds like not everyone was there. I will check out that book/author. I have heard of her but don't think I've read any of her books. Are you guys headed to Europe or somewhere overseas this summer? Great pic of you and your daughter! How exciting for her to be on staff. Abby will be doing an intern this school year for CRU. I know they have staff members on campuses for CRU, too. I do wonder if she will go that route. So far support raising has me thinking this year will be a one and done for her but she will go where the Lord leads her and opens doors. Have a great weekend!

    1. CRU is such a great organization!! I'm sure Laura would be happy to talk to her about support raising - she had an EXCELLENT mentor and I'm impressed with how she's grown through that experience. We went to Ireland and London late May/early June but I am BAD about posting post-vacay (I admire all of you that do it so well!). I did post on SM daily while I was there since our house wasn't empty or anything and my mom wanted to "keep up". Have a great weekend!
