POTD 03.02.13

Frederick was a part of his school's Dribble Team this year.  It is a group of 3rd & 4th graders who perform a "skills" routine as part of a Festival of Movement that the PE departments in our county do.  On Saturday evening his school and another elementary school performed their routines during halftime at our local university's basketball games (men and women both).  It was a neat experience for him :)  I had some video but couldn't get it to load on this blog. . .here is a view of the floor from where we were sitting:

Frederick's school was on the far side of the floor -- I could only see him through the zoom feature on my camera!  I really applaud the PE teachers who put in so much extra time to make this happen for these kids -- thank you!!!
