A Week Ago Today

This would be the beautiful, gorgeous sunshine of Anna Maria Island. . .an absolutely incredible weekend.

And since I've been home (woke up to that Friday, home by Sunday night. . .) it's been go-go-go. . .loved my time in Florida, love my Florida family, love the time with my girlfriends. . .but my place in life, right now, is right here in the middle of TN with the ones I love the most.  I am a blessed woman.

Miss you all, Bestest Friends and Best Aunt & Uncle in the world!!!

Last week at this time only food and sunshine were calling my name. . .
Today it's laundry and schoolwork.  What a difference a week makes!

I am linking up to Company Girls Coffee today (still want to figure out the blog hop-link-thing) and hope that you have some time to visit too.  Without basketball or soccer this weekend I may have a chance to check in with all my favorite blogs :)

As an aside. . .this is what Tom, his parents, and the kids woke up to last Friday morning:
Was it fair of me to send the other above pics to him on my phone in response to this?

  2. LOL - I wouldn't send those pictures unless you don't mind if they save the repair work for you and send you up on the ladder!

What beautiful sunny shots. And what refreshment we get from time spent with good friends! Amazing how a short break can make home seem so much sweeter.

  3. Oh no about the house! Same type thing happened to us last Friday from wind damage. As a matter of fact, the insurance man is here right now assessing the damage. Nice to meet you through Company Girls! God bless you!

  4. I love a good storm, but not when they do damage and this last storm tore a whole in our roof. At least it didn't take long to fix.

  7. Thanks for sharing your sunshine with us! I am still looking at snow...but I know that Spring will get here eventually.

Was that damage from a wind storm? We had one here last week with gusts up to 60mph, but nothing that could do that kind of damage. Just a few branches down.

I love your positive attitude. It's so important for us to keep a smile on our face...whether on vacation, or knee deep in Mt. Washmore! :)

    Have a great weekend!
    -Melissa
