10 a.m. in April

I revised my Picture of the Day this year to be a "Picture at . . . o'clock".  I did 4 o'clock p.m. in March, and 5 p.m. in February.

I did my best to capture "life" at 10 a.m. each day in April :)
April 1stMust have been onboarding day at SouthEast!
April 2nd - I found myself at our branch in Chattanooga.
This is in the parking garage - the drive-through is over where you see the banner to the left in the picture.  My meeting was probably at 10 a.m. so this was when I pulled in.
April 3rd - NOTHING!  But I did capture this meme that I thought was very appropriate, or at least for me:
I really do feel like I've "always" been 30. . .the age where you are responsible, but not OLD - ha!  I don't remember much about 15, but at 30 I had been married 7 years, birthed baby #3, living in the second house we had bought but in the third town we had lived together since getting married. . .Tom was working full-time (I was a full-time Mom) and going to school for his bachelor's degree. . .I guess I was young!  I wonder if I still do all the "stuff" - or could live my Life at Thirty - today??  Just to be clear, I don't think I LOOK 30, just feel it ;)
April 4th
Working from home!
April 5th
We drove over to Byrdstown to get some parts off the boat to bring back for Tom to work on.
April 6th
Here's my actual 10 a.m. picture (well, as close to 10 as I could get - we would be in the sermon at 10 so I captured this before) and, because I made reference to working on the boat in the previous picture, here Tom is with those parts, set up in our garage to repair/rebuild.  Yes, it was successful!!
April 7th
I discovered very early in the month that 10 a.m. was difficult - it was generally in the "middle" of something. . .church, a work meeting. . .so here we go - on April 7th Radar had chewed up at toy by 6:45 a.m. while Chelsea looked at me innocently from her bed.  I took another picture at 12:30 from my desk.  Yes, I do a lot of creating material in my job :)
April 8th
I helped to host a Head Teller workshop that day - my boss did the Above the Line thing (to the left) early on, then I was taking phrases about what one thinks of when they hear the word "feedback".  This picture was taken close to the end of the workshop part, then we went to an Ax Throwing place to finish out the day together.
I had never done it before - this was about as good as I got :). Everyone seemed to have a good time and I would definitely do it again.
April 9th - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!  It looks like I downloaded an image of my friend Jeff Hancher to promote his book somewhere - I've been trying to do it as much as possible :).
It comes out June 17th if you're interested!
April 10th
I was on the road again and this was in someone's office - turns out she made it!  It's encouraging to see that others feel this way about work too :)
April 11th
This was my 9:15 p.m. Picture of the Day - my sister with her 18-yr-old dog.  Tom and I went up to Ohio for the weekend to see my parents.
April 12th
Couldn't do the "10 a.m." POTD b/c we were playing pickleball together - but snapped this at 10:35!
April 13th - We were in church at 10 a.m. but got this picture with Barb afterwards :)
April 14th
Getting the dogs out for a trip down the street before I had to go into work (I usually go in around lunchtime on Mondays).  At 10:03 I sent this picture to Tom - a tree had fallen across the stream into Tommy's backyard:
April 15th
Shocker, it's 10 a.m. on a Wednesday - where else would I be than at my kitchen table working on a training??  The last two years of my life this was TAX DAY - a big day for public accountants. . .I'll take this.
April 16th - I have two pictures. . .one from 8:53 a.m. and one from 13:31 - can you spot the difference?
April 17th
Another Birthday Friends dinner :). NOT at 10 a.m., but still would have been POTD regardless :)
April 18th - repeat!  Working from home. . .looks like Laura was here to keep me company though - that's a good thing to remember about 10 a.m. 4/18/25.
April 19th
On the road again!  And a double-shot - the first 10 a.m. was Eastern Standard Time and the second was 10 a.m. Central Standard Time and our haul from Buc-ee's :). Headed to the lake to get those parts put back on the boat and we made it out too :)
April 20th
My one-and-only Easter picture this year, taken at 9:35 a.m. At 10 a.m. I was working on our Easter lunch/dinner for later that day:
April 21st
I was "flipping" our room - put the chair by the window, the tall chest where the chair used to be.  I like having the chair closer to the window - it's where I'm sitting right now typing this up :)
April 22nd
Looks like I took this picture a bit early - it's where we have our call centers for the bank and another business within our footprint.  I think I was there to do a 10 a.m. in-person training.
April 23rd
Another "early" picture - maybe I need to do a "9:30 a.m." POTD. . .seems to be a bit more convenient :) This is Chelsea - Radar must have been off running around.  We love this dog park.
April 24th
Or, 11:30 a.m. seems to be a good time - I was waiting to meet my old boss for lunch.  I love getting together with him and hearing about what is going on - I truly miss working for him, but not the industry (taxes).
April 25th
Ha!  Working form home again (as I do most Fridays) - this just in a different location. . .I see I have a sleepy-head cuddled next to me. . .
April 26th
9:30-ish again. . .we had reserved a couple of pickleball courts at a nearby park since our club was hosting a tournament and we couldn't do our regular Saturday morning 7-9 a.m. round-robin play.
But this would have probably been my POTD - we met our good friends in Cookeville for the high school's Mary Poppins production later that day.
April 27th - well, there you go. . .I snagged a picture in church. . .toward the end of the month I'm getting the "hang" of this!
April 28th - Monday morning. . .back at the park:

April 29th - shocker, at 10 a.m. I'm WORKING - ha!  But this time at the office.  I was getting ready to get on a call with a manager and her director to sum up her take-aways from this book:
April 30th - I'll end the month with a FAIL.  Not one picture or screenshot from the day. . .nothing :(

May is going to be 11 a.m. - I'm curious to see if my days are any different an hour later.

Thanks for scrolling along the month with me - this isn't a bad way to keep a diary and having my alarm ring each day to remind me to snap a picture also reminds me to be grateful and thankful for the day and the life I get to lead within these days.

Love,
Jenni

  1. What a great way to have reminders of many of the little things that you'd likely forget about if you hadn't taken the photo. Love this! Great pics of everyday life sprinkled with some special moments, too.

  2. This is a fun thing to do. I feel like I'd miss a lot of them without an alert on my phone, but you've done great. It would be interesting to see how different the days are from one another. Have a great week!
